Mediocre and bad offenses at UT since the 2002 season.

Yet, he still managed to have some pretty stout defenses since then. Who is the last noteworthy UT QB since Tee Martin?

He will be working with better defensive players and (hopefully) a Crowton led offense that can put some points on the board.

Great job on the hire Les.

Erik Ainge. Broke Peyton Manning's freshman TD record which led Brent Schaffer to transfer. Hhe was often injured his soph and jr year. His Sr year he completed 62.6 % of his passes and had a 135.48 QB rating. That year he also passed for 3,522 passing yards and 31 touchdowns with 10 interceptions.

Casey Clausen was 34-10 and threw 75 TD's and 31 ints. for 9707 yards with a 61% completion rate.

They might not be heisman winners, but they weren't bad.
