I really thought Louisville would give Malzahn more of a look given their affinity for the high powered offense over the last decade. Maybe the Kragthorpe experience soured them on going that route. Good for Strong. He's been waiting long enough. That being said, since I am from Memphis, I hope he is an abysmal failure and Louisville continues to suck for years to come.

If Louisville doesn't offer, you probably don't have to worry. He's not going to leave for a small time job and Louisville was the only BCS job that he would really be qualified for with his limited experience. The only other one I could see right now would be Cincy if Kelly leaves, but they will probably go for a defensive minded coach again, since the last two have worked out pretty well for them. Bigger offers will start rolling in for Malzahn next year if he continues to have success.

the interview could take place as soon as sunday after the seccg. TJ isnt going to interfere with uf until after the cg.

Releasing anything official before Saturday would be in bad taste, IMO. Seems UL is doing things right so far.
