The Lions defense is middle of the road. Ironically, Sheppard's defense and Minter's defense are both averaging exactly 21.6 points per game.
The difference is, Minter has been doing it longer, has experience at the college level, and had HC experience (albeit for a very short time).

This is who I hope they call. He's making just over 1 million a year. He may rather college football than the NFL. Could get a nice raise and put him on an incentive based contract.
