Can we end the "Miles is too loyal" argument now?

He's shown the door to his "friends" after 1 substandard season, and only 1 year removed from a NC to boot. There is no factual evidence to suggest Miles will refuse to get rid of underperforming coaches, or keep shuffling them around on his staff to keep them hanging on.

Now if you want to argue playing seniors over young guys, that's a different argument for a different board.

He was nice enough to give them the opportunity, they sucked. He has to think about his own career as well.

Most of us don't know how this truly went down...maybe BP and a few others do...in order to comment on Miles' loyalty. I'm just glad a change did occur.

I beleive Miles loyalty to his assistance and upperclassmen is a lot higher than other coaches in his position.

What needs to be factored in here is that Miles either puts a blemish on his loyalty or puts a huge gigantic dent in his coaching future at LSU. It appears he made the more logical decision.

He will continue to be a very loyal head coach, but now we know his job is #1 above his loyalty.
