Can LSU even offer a 10 year contract?

I keep seeing posts about a 10 year deal for Jimbo... but if I recall correctly, we had to do a rolling 5 year deal with Saban because that was the max allowed by the state. Has this changed?

State has no limits on service term contracts. Your Medicaid management information systems contract, the most expensive in the state, is for 10 years.

no idea, but give him a 0.05% cut on all gator and crawfish sales out of state. like what Patterson gets at tcu.

Also this is an employment contract. Bit different.

I'm pretty sure it's not even confirmed that it's 10 years.
