They should do a retraction or an apology but it will never happen. They think they have the right to say what they want and suffer no repercussions when they are wrong. I hate espn and very seldom watch any of their programing because of things such as this.

I just emailed them asking if they had enough integrity to publicly apologize to Les since they publicly trashed him. I doubt seriously they will respond or apologize... chickenshits

i was so pissed when skip and the other guys were trashing him on 1st and 10. They were attacking his character over something that turned out to be bull shite. they should appoligize but they will not because no one will hold their feet to the fire. Maybe except for Les but I think he has other things to worry about. "He's busy".

ESPN has great programming, but lacks a bit in information.

I must say that the sports reporters show yesterday was one of the most incompetent bit of "journalism" that I have ever seen. The three assclowns all raised their hands when asked if they thought Miles was leaving for Michigan.

Mike Lupica went on to trash all football coaches for not having loyalty. Can you imagine if Fox offered one of the sports reporters a job for twice their current salary? How fast would they be out the door?

Crybaby John Saunders was whining because the falcons owner said, in his interview during the NFL game, that he hoped Michael Vick doesn't eat too much fried chicken in prison. Saunders was offended because he claimed it was sterotyping. I sure hope that he got all of the sand out of his vagina.

I apologize if this is Germans, but I feel better now!

Hey, ESPN

Saw the same thing, Randy. I just "submitted a correction" to ESPN - and cited the Sports Reporters, Kirk and Skip Bayless. All of who essentially called Les Miles a liar.

I guess from their point of view, Miles kept the LSU job just to prove ESPN wrong.

I'm not boycotting them, though, because they are the only game in town, and I generally find their programming informative and entertaining. I will be questioning the informative part a bit more in the future, though.

Debaser,

Thanks for the input. I'm pissed at this, and I commend you for having the balls to submit a correction to them. It would be rereshing, although not likely, to see an apology.

I agree that you cannot boycott them, since they are the only show in town at that time. I cannot believe that some other network hasn't come up with competitive programming during the Sunday morning time slots. Fox airs Jimmy Swaggart at that time. I think that many of us would at least give another network a try.

Really,

No one really had any sources on this. It is now coming out that RR put out feelers to UM in the summer. That Don Nehlen (former Bo Asst. - and well respected at Mich) was the conduit.

That the meeting last Friday was the last in a series of talks -- so where were the sources on the other meetings?

BM is not the best AD, he wasn't brought here to do the normal AD thing, just to fix the finances and re-build the athletic campus (he is, after all a mulit-millionarie development guy). But he did say that the recruitment of Mich next HC was going underground and he apparently achieved that objective. Doing almost all, except the very finish out of public view.

RR can coach offense, but never has built a defense. I guess we now hope win every game 48-35.

The question now is will he stay very long. He covets the Fla. St. job. And if Jimbo Fisher does a Ron Zook, will RR then jump. Maybe that is just modern day college football and to be expected!

People question whether the spread option will work here/B10. Well Urban Meyer ran it to great effect at both BGSU and Utah. It is very successful in Boise St. It apparently worked well enough at WVU, Rutgers, Louisvile, Cinci etc. It seems clear that it is not a weather thing, it works fine in bad climate. Just can you get the guys to run it. Those schools got guys who could do it, so it seems that it should go here as well.
