Can we just back the truck up and give him $600,00 to come to Baton Rouge. This guy would immediately upgrade the staff infinitely and make the LSU coordinators the best in the SEC.

Les has made some great hires from outside the program so far. He needs to sack up and bring the next big thing to Baton Rouge.

Here is his line.

Total Defense- 2
Scoring Defense- 3

Pass Defense- 24
Rushing Defense- 1
Pass Efficiency Defense- 8
Sacks- 1
TFL- 7

3 players tied for 11th with 6 picks.

3 players in the Top 10 for sacks, including the overall leader.

Not to mention, that he would give us additional recruting inroads into Texas.

Having Bumpas and Crowton on the same staff would be unreal. Immediately accelerating the staff (from a pure X's and O's perspective) to perhaps the best in the SEC. Right now I think we are probably third behind Florida and Bama from top to bottom.

What's ironic is Bumpas was once the CO-DC with Bradley Dale Peveto at Houston. They got the coach fired after, I believe, 2 years.

I've heard that the head coach at TCU is actually the brains of the defense.

We have to get him. I think the 4-2-5 could wreck havic on some teams. Plus, I think it could shut down UF's spread offense.

The TCU defense has been good for some time and actually tailed off before and after the arrival of Bumpas, but to your point, the HC has a defense background and they had a good D before Bumpas arrived.
