being a CFB junkie I have seen alot of BK's teams over the years ...at Grand Valley St (running an innovative offense breaking records) to Cincy and ND offenses based around online and running games, ball control, etc - he can adapt to what he could recruit and has available ...but will start in the trenches.
One thing that's clear from watching his teams, they are well prepared, play hard, rarely get blown out ... and he's improved teams and programs over time and their seasons.
He has serious recruiting handcuffs and ND and has still taken more than 1 team to the playoffs and won a game. I know people claim their schedule is 'easy' but with their talent any game is a potential loss and most of their seasons are still tougher than most teams outside the SEC.
He hires good coaches and won't be distracted off the field...my only concern is recruiting the area, but hopefully, that is accounted for in the staff.
From the jump, he was top 3 for what I assumed were feasible candidates (and checked alot of boxes for the AD)...especially if he was smart enough to WANT this job.
Fantastic hire!
