I'd take Peterson over Kelly anyday of the week and twice on Saturday. He's already won a BCS game and did it at a non-BCS school.

well kelly hasn't exactly been anywhere where he could win a national champional. ok well he did win them just not at D-1

That would be the ideal situation to me. I think Brian Kelly would be a very real possibility: HC of the #2 school in his state, hailing from the Midwest, just like our last two coaches. The difference between Les and Saban is that Saban would never leave Bama or LSU to coach at his alma mater, Kent State. Kelly's alma mater isn't even FBS (I don't even know if it's FCS).

i don't know why people think we need someone with a national championship. we need a consistent winner that wins everywhere he goes. that's kelly, and i don't even need to talk about muschamp. he will have our D number one in every category. ok so that's exagerrating but still.
