How is that obvious exactly? You do realize it's not uncommon for an AD to miss on a hire right? Honestly, most ADs always miss on their top targets and end up hiring the 3rd or 4th guys on their list. Most of the 1st and 2nd guys are already in good positions. It's just the nature of it. Riley was never coming here and that's the only thing that's obvious at this point. He was running from the SEC or he would have just stayed at Oklahoma.
