Brandon can't deliver Miles or Harbaugh.

Michigan won't be happy with the hire and Brandon already alluded to such in yesterday's presser saying that he was making the decision and not the fans.

Draw your own conclusion re: Miles and Brandon per this interview back in Dec 2007:

The interview thought enough of Brandon to contact him for his comments re: Miles back then. Doesn't sound like they were/are "close" but surely Brandon knows how to contact Miles via other folks to feel him out.
Either Miles or Hoke will be the next coach of Michigan. Unless both refuse and Michigan has to find someone else.
