SIAP - ESPN.com reporting that Bowden met with the FSU presiednt today and was presented with two options, one of which will be to return to the sideline but with less responsibility (allowing Jimbo to make the choices wrt coaches, etc.) Bowden said that the two will meet again tomorrow and an announcement will be forthcoming from the university.

Of course Jimbo is already HC coach in waiting, but with Andrews retiring, who will be in play as DC? Also, will Jimbo bring in someone to be his OC?

he'd just be a figurehead if that were the case i doubt he would go for that.

They should let Bowden come back for his swan song. He's done enough there to deserve that. A farewell tour so to speak.

I think they mainly gave him these options because they want Jimbo to be able to make his own hire as DC. And Jimbo probably demanded it...makes sense.
