Bob Stoops interview on his YouTube channel this morning.

He talks about the LR to LSU "rumors" at the 4:50 mark. He comments on things that were reported including that LR "interviewed" for the job this past week. States several times that all the reporting is "ridiculous" and that LR wouldn't have to interview for the job but would be offered. Funny, I haven't read anywhere that LR interviewed but that he was offered a contract. He also makes a joke about Texas being behind the rumors. Hey Bob, I've news for you, LR has been offered the job and someone has at least considered it on his behalf.

He made sure to reference how many jobs he was offered when he won a NC in 2000. He's definitely full of himself. Also, I find it ironic that a guy with a lisp has 3 "s" in his last name....

If he didn’t want to coach anymore, then I wouldn’t want him telling me what is what about my football team. Seems to me like he really wants his opinion heard and how he thinks on things, would’ve done things. I would hate that if I was Riley.

If Bob stoops is really still that involved in the ou program on a day to day basis, that could be his reason for leaving. There would be no one looking over his shoulder at lsu

The comical part is that apparently he was all but leaving for Florida after Spurier, and was on the doorstep of leaving for ND. I've been reading that from the OU insiders on 247. Kind of hypocritical in a sense coming from him.

Yeah, I'm thinking if his prodigy leaves for LSU, he is going to be rumored to be part of the reason why.
