Not for LSU DC. He just doesn't have the college coaching experience. Maybe to coach the linebackers?

Crennel is the only, even remotely, possibility, and even then, it's 1 in 10,000 or something like that (and it wouldn't be much better if we were hiring a head coach). I only responded because Cowher is, obviously, being looked at for HC gigs. ND is one of the very few college HC opportunities that he might consider.

Bill Cowher will go to Clevland, Detroit, or could possibly go to ND or replace Joe Pa at Penn State. He will not coach a Southern College Football team as head coach. Are you realistically inferred him for DC at LSU?
