Odom could have had the job at Memphis, since Mizzou couldn't land Herman, they were lucky Odom was "in house" and is a Mizzou guy which is likely the only reason he hadn't accepted Memphis or another HC job. With all the openings and the musical coaching chairs, Odom would have easily moved on to a HC job at a FBS school.

UGA didn't land a HC w/ proven HC experience, and it looks like UScjr won't either or will take a guy that has no success at that level. Just like LSU fans are all dumpy drawered about there non existent "upgrade", the HC search isn't going all jackpot winners for a lot of schools.
