Kiffin- Okay,a lot of instability over his career...great offense, entertaining, but is that what LSU needs right now? We need to rebuild the culture at LSU with in the football building. Hiring him would create excitement no doubt. Not sure on results, he would be interesting

Not really. Kiffin got canned by Al Davis because he was way too young and inexperienced to be the head coach of an NFL football team. However, that wasn't Kiffin's fault, that was Al Davis' fault for hiring the kid.

His next job was the head coaching job at Tennessee and he was there only one season and did a pretty good job. Then suddenly he flew the coop for USC, where he cut his teeth in coaching.

Unless someone is a Tennessee fan, no one can blame Kiffin for escaping that Tennessee train wreck as fast as he could.

Then he also got canned at USC, but a lot of that had to do with his youth and the harsh probation that USC was on at the time.

Meanwhile, he stayed at Alabama for far longer than anyone would have ever thought, but nonetheless, he did an outstanding job.

His next job was at Florida Atlantic, which was a head coaching job and obviously like his job at Ole Miss, only a stepping stone job on his climb to the pinnacle of college football, and again he did an outstanding job.

At Ole Miss, again, he is currently doing an excellent job as no one ever figured that when he took the job that Ole Miss would be competing for championships in only his second season, but they are.

Anyway, no other coaching candidate currently under consideration has nearly the experience, the ability to coach, and the ability to recruit like Lane Kiffin.

Hence, if Woodward hires someone else then it will mean that Woodward is terribly incompetent.

Some elite upper echelon football program will hire Kiffin, it may as well be LSU. As he is as ready for the LSU job as he ever has been.

Imagine Nussmeier and Howard along with our outstanding receiver corp under Kiffin's guidance. LSU would be unstoppable.

Meanwhile, if Woodward makes the mistake of permitting Kiffin to remain at Ole Miss, it won't be long at all before Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss are not only beating LSU on the recruiting trail but also on the football field every year.

Jimbo

You obviously miss Les Miles and his antiquated offense. So you want to hire Jimbo and his antiquated offense.
