You really won't though. Arkansas football is dead for another decade if you don't figure out a way to knock this hire out of the park.. which looks unlikely.

It’s just not a desirable gig....you can have all the money you want there but your recruiting base sucks and big time recruits don’t really want to go to Fayetteville. Also no one gives a shite about your history

I think it’s probably more likely though that Arkansas fans realizing they are a less attractive job than Ole Miss caused their brains to short circuit and they are all literally insane now.

Arkansas should go the route of other programs on their level like Baylor or Iowa St. Bring in a young up and comer who’s resume might be lacking but willing to put the time in to build a program. Lane was a bad idea anyway, he would have gotten the hell out of dodge the minute he had any kind of success. They seem dead set on getting a name just to prove something
