I understand that Drink is their 2nd choice currently, but that’s only until LSU sees how much the fanbase will absolutely hate that hire should we even get to that point. Even Moscona, who doesn’t typically put his actual opinions out there on this stuff, said this would be a bad hire. Drinkwitz should not even be on the list.

I don't know what to believe at this point. Supposedly, a very influential member of the LSU BOS has been pushing Drink hard. I'm not sure why. Also, we've heard from more than one source that LSU does not have a back up plan in the event that Kiffin says no and we get Underwooded. I just don't see how anyone feels that Drink would be a better hire than Dillingham, Brohm, Golesh, or even Sumrall. Seeing as how LSU's season went off the rails and the fans turned on Kelly with a vengeance, you'd think that Verge and company would be hell bent on getting this hire right and bring in a coach that would get the fan base excited again. Drink won't do that. It just means that LSU mismanaged the search and we're getting stuck with the only other guy they reached out to. Will LSU fans pull a UT-Schiano style revolt? I doubt it, although I'd love to see it.

OM seems confident and the meeting is tomorrow. I’m gonna crash out if Drink is our guy. No cap I’m getting nervous

You can always tell which posters are Gen Y and younger because they can't handle uncertainty without acting like little bitches.
