Sure we are talking ourselves into him being the best option here and yes their number one target is Franklin but a west coast guy who can bring stability and toughness to a program they have never had since Pete is exactly what they need.

Aranda is much more likely to come back to LSU than go to USC. He knows you can win very quickly at LSU. It would take a lot longer to fix that mess than it would to take the talent already at LSU and win with it.

It's not that crazy of an idea. USC fans aren't really fanatical. Fans at USC just forget about you if you're not that good, so he'd have more runway to get it together there.
