Anyone think UM might be trying to avoid what happened in 2007?

I realize it looks bad, but assume for a minute Les was actually a viable option last time and the interference of the inner circle at UM (people leaking out info to the media) ending up screwing over UM whom later had to settle for Rich Rod because of it.
Now realize that UM is likely looking for a new coach and their top choice is wavering. They'll likely try to let it play out quietly and even use some deception this time to ensure it stays quiet until things are set.
In the end, no one knows, but things are in motion and it will be interesting to see how they play out.
People at UM or reporting it are just eager to break the story, thus taking anything anyone states, twisting it and running it as "from a source". The way I see it, is buy nothing, but enjoy people trying to stake their claims at infamy for "breaking" the story.

It's been an interesting day

However, he did specifically state that Rodriguez would be fired today.* - By Wil January 4, 2011 at 08:07:10 PM
