LSU thought the same thing. Don;t get too comfortable and enjoy this win and the one Jan. 7

And you do? How many times have you met him? Do you personally know him or his family?
I exchanged greetings with him while I was walking to my car after class my JR year at LSU and he was making the walk back from practice...from that meeting I feel confident in saying that he will stay at bama.

he hasnt won the championship yet....

If Notre Dame does not hire a coach by the championship game and Saban wins the title, you Bama fans better become leary.

Once the LSU job didn't re-open for him with "Miles to Michigan November of 2007"..it was over for any school with Saban..
And even in LSU's case up 'til then, it was just due to he and his wife's former ties here, and that Bama had yet to write it's current history..
He will retire there now..ten to fifteen years from now..with 3 or 4 Tide national titles.

if he wins the BCS he is gone to ND they have more money than you and he can win more hardware there than he can in the SEC. You were fighting for your life in how many games this season against average sec opponents?

As much as some lsu fans love him, he aint leavin to come here thats for damn sure. He would be stupid to leave, but his ego could stand in the way.

I don't buy the ND thing. They have cash, but that is not the job it once was. It would be easier to recruit and win at USC in the PAC-10.
I don't think Saban will consider leaving Bama until he has at least one title there, which of course may happen very soon. Saban is a great coach right now. Two NCs at two different schools puts him in the conversation of the best in recent history. A third title at a third school makes him the best of the last 40-50 years, and possible the best ever. No one else has done anything like that in modern times. That is a reason for someone with a huge ego to leave, and that third title could EASILY be attained at USC.

That's exactly what I thought after he won the NC here. Especially after 2786 press conferences saying I am NOT going to the NFL or anywhere else. Baton Rouges is our home. My family LOVES it here. Up until about 36 hours before he left.

He was much younger then. He's almost 60 years old now. Do you really think he's going to want to start over somewhere new and rebuild a program? He has everything he wants at Alabama and will continue to dominate the SEC.

I'd hate to ruin your dreams, but there is no chance in hell Nick Saban will ever return to Baton Rouge. Contrary to what LSU fans believe, he did not love it there. It was just a job to him. And I know all of you seem to think he hates it here, but if any of you had actually met him, you'd know that he really enjoys coaching Alabama. Both him and his family love it here. And yes, his wife does like it. And anyone who thinks they still like LSU is absolutely wrong. In fact, Saban's daughter has had quite a few things to say about her days in Baton Rouge. She even called Les Miles a little bitch

The Sabans even cheer against LSU no matter who they're playing. People on here have no idea what they're talking about if they really think the Sabans wish they were still in BR

This is actually all true. I think people need to get over Saban. I admit he's the best thing that's happened to LSU football, but he's gone and he's never coming back.

Leave BAMA for LSU...umm... no. That ship has sailed.
Posted on 12/5/09 at 9:06 pm to DB2
meh, i'm a miles hater...but don't bama fans often go after miles's wife?
all fair game, as they say.
and it's been verified by at least 250+ guys in br that his daughter is a slut.

And you know this how? Not that I give two shits about Nicky, I'm just wondering how you're so intimate with the Sabans, that you know what they think. Personally, I call bullshite.
