Anyone else think Orgeron used Bobby Hebert?

I heard Hebert actually defended Orgeron to a caller yesterday. I have no problem with Orgeron taking more $$ or wanting to coach under Monty, but what boils my blood is that I truly believe he used LSU and Hebert in the process. The whole crap about wanting to stay here because his kids like it, only to sell out to the highest bidder just shows Orgeron's priorities. If I was Hebert, I would be pissed and feel like Orgeron used me to get Tennessee to up the ante. I don't think people in Louisiana are going to forget this and hopefully NOBODY will allow this clown back into our state.

I think O listened to Sexton, who has no problem burning ANYBODY for a buck. As far as Hebert, I don't actually think he got played as much as he stupidly stuck his neck out trying to get a scoop. That's why he backpeddled when his comments were seen as gospel and everyone ran with it.

It was a joke. Like I said in an earlier thread, it's reading between the lines. You read he was playing us. I read he likes his job and wouldn't purposly screw LSU and its fans. He is a media member and tried to further himself with LSU fans by scooping the story.

I listened to the live "Breaking News" story before the game yesterday, Hebert was sucking "BeBes" dick so hard and making 1,000 excuses for him not coming to LSU. It seem like he was trying to not make LSU fans hate "O".

I think so. Can't see why Bobby would put his neck out for O. Seems to have a good job at WWL and having the masses call for your head for helping O to play LSU would not be a career move.

Well, this isn't the first time O double-crossed LSU (McKnight). It shouldn't be so hard to believe he'd do it again.
But, I agree with the others. His treatment of LSU should never be forgotten in the state of La.

NO chance of that now. Most of us really didn't care for YAW YAW before all of this came down, now it's cemented in stone. Never trusted that he was EVER going to coach the DL at LSU. Everybody remember that there has always been this notion that Orgeron "Hated" LSU for different reasons. He was probably just using LSU to get more money out of UT all along....
