No one can doubt that he's a lights out recruiter. So if he fails, he won't be leaving us without any talent for the next coach.

And coach O has talent to work with now... that's my point.
Talent is everything.. but if a coach can't win or recruit, then gets fired.. the next coach has to totally rebuild

That's irrelevant, you don't fire someone who can just recruit for someone else who can just recruit. You upgrade, hence the melt from everyone. You move vertically with position hires, you don't plateau or maybe even in this case fall.
