So Aranda was smart to kick the FG but Riley is a crybaby for wanting a 15 yd penalty for 5k fans rushing the field when SEC schools are fined $250k when fans rush the field.
Should’ve been a 15 yd penalty….guess I’m crying too.

Aranda called a time out and kicked a FG with 1 second left, up 10. He kind of did do something that was very Busch league.
Tell me you don't understand college football without directly saying so.
Both you and Riley evidently are a lot dumber than Aranda.

Aranda was on top of things, Riley wasn't.
Riley's teams are extremely soft. They probably take after the head coach.

OU has a long history of running up the score. Go look at their history in the past few years, they are throwing the ball late in the 4th up by 4+ scores, scoring inside of 90 seconds up 2-3 scores. Been doing it as longs as I can remember, and I’m not sure anyone benefits from style points the way they do considering what happens in the post season. You can say this is different, I don’t really see how it is.

he was being proactive about a potential tie breaker situation that most coaches don't even know about
He wasn’t but it was obviously a great excuse.

Aranda was totally justified in what he did considering the conference tie breaker rules. Riley said he understood, then said he wouldn’t have done it. So saying he wouldnt put his team in the best possible position to contend for a championship for the sake of a non-existent unwritten rule is is stupid and not a good look.
He was, however, justified in bitching to the refs about the delay of game penalty. What he should have done was say to the refs, “Look, you either call the delay of game or my team stays in the locker room and you’ll just have to forfeit us if that’s a problem.” So the refs either bend to his demand, or rule a forfeit for Oklahoma in which case it would have gone in the books as a 1 to 0 loss. The one point differential would have fricked Aranda for what he was trying to do as regards the possible point differential tie breaker. This would have been a low swinging dick, total pimp move by Riley, and I wish he would have done it.

Kind of telling that he was apparently aware of the Big XII rules that were involved in the conference tiebreaker. Aranda did know the rules and utilized them to Baylor’s advantage.

Riley didn't like it but it didn't seem that bad , any coach would have done the same

Riley is the head coach of a program that, in its Big 8 heyday, proudly and unapologetically strove to “hang half-a-hundred” on their opponents.
Conference tie-breaker notwithstanding, karma, Sooner Nation.
