Alabama losing both assistant coaches

This is not a flame by any means or a thread about LSU being scared and hoping this blows up in Bamas face. This is a huge compliment to the staff that potentially two coaches could become head coaches next season. For all you Bama fans, in your honest opinion how will this affect your team? I'm not jumping to conclusions saying it's all negative bc the last title we won Pelini was already headed to Nebraska and our boys played lights out for Bo... What say you

It obviously isn't ideal, but I doubt you'll find any fans who conceed defeat as a result of it.
Yeah, but you guys were playing against OSU. No disprespect to them, but this LSU team would beat that OSU team by 21 points. I'd be less concerned if we were playing a team as "good" as that OSU team compared to a team as "great" as this LSU team.

Nor should you - Saban runs off more assistant coaches than just about anybody. He stills wins as many games as just about anybody.
It just means you will not have much year-to-year continuity with coaches. Heck, at LSU, Saban had 3 DCs in 5 seasons, albeit 1 very briefly (John Thompson figured out the score in about 15 minutes).

losing smart means about jack shite to bama for this game and going forward. Saban will find another puppet dc to keep firing up his guys and wont miss one beat at all.
Im not even sure losing jim hurts that much either since saban controls it all.

Continuity is important. Bama will be fine, though. But it could hurt some of their recruits. Even though Saban rules the roost at Bama, the position coaches and coordinators are the ones who deal with the kids on a daily basis and coach them up. You don't want to lose coordinators.
