Has the luster come off this guy? I remember once upon a time he was thought to be in line for a HC job.

In 2004 and 2005, with a roster full of future NFL guys, AU led the SEC in total offense. Since then, we've been pretty mediocre. We're all hoping that a more mobile QB with a stronger arm will bring back the old Borges.

SFP, I must claim stupidity on this one. I argued with you at length prior to the season about how Cox was a playmaker and how I'd rather have Flynn over Russell.
Cox has been servicable at best this season, and with Burns or Field, I'm hoping the AU offense regains its old form. The talent is still down in the JR/SR group at WR, but young talent is developing. We'll see.

Funny, he takes a lot of heat on the AU boards. Of course, so does Tubs, so that might be saying something.
Nall's critics can't seem to let go of the failed experiment as OC in 2003. In 2007 all he did was take 3 true freshmen and 0 seniors and get them to play well enough to win in every game. Most non-idiot Auburn fans are happy with him.
