A new coaching hire, whether in a championship or not, is going to want to begin

recruiting to his new school. So it makes sense that an announcement would need to be made as soon as possible.

They still have one more game to play and there won't be anything announced until after that has been played. There was never going to be anything official until after the season was over. If they have conference championships or playoffs, it'll be even longer than that.

I believe an announcement will be made at the end of the LSU season.

I seriously doubt they'll announce a coach who still has a conference championship game to play.

Baylor’s season, for all intents & purposes, could end next week with a loss.

Same could be said for Lincoln Riley if they lose & Baylor wins.

Napier will not be available until after Dec 4.

And honestly I think Napier would be the only one to publicly agree before they know their postseason fate, but I could be wrong
