I don't think he goes from OC (at Bama or LSU) to power 5 HC.

he's already kicked arse at Bama for 3 years. What would another year at Bama or LSU do for him?
No Power5 school was going to take the risk to hire him as HC. But after 3 years at FAU, if he does well and acts like an adult, then a Power5 school could grab him. The risk will be lower at that point.
