Lets say Michigan fires RR and say it "due to the NCAA investigation"....is he ruined as a head coach?

If they were to some how catch Miles on one of his brain-fart days and he leaves for Michigan...is RR someone we should consider?

and LSU is going to consider him? no way in hell that happens. i would think the "usual suspects" would be at the top of LSU's list. Kelly, Hargaugh (sp), JDR, ect.

I asked this all wrong....according to ESPN, RR was never liked in Michigan and with the losing season, they could use the investigation as an excuse to get rid of him...even before a final verdict is in....I meant if he was cleared, would he be a consideration for LSU....he is a good coach...just have a young team at Michigan. I think LSU's offense would be crazy with his style.

People wanting to hire just fired coaches from other colleges are geniuses. Lets let he and Tuberville be co-head coaches.

Russell Shepard would go balls out in his offense

but no, I'll pass. He seems like a bitch, tbh.

Tubberville fired from Auburn....look where its gotten them. Solich fired from Nebraska and look what happened there...sometimes a recently fired coach can be the best deal especially if he was fired for the wrong reasons!!!

Hal Mumme made Tim Couch a man, in more ways than one.

Mumme, Fulmer, and Sherrill were declining....Croom was too dumb to change his OC-he was given the option to do so and keep his job...he was building the program but the offensive scheme was horrible.

Solich and Tubbs were winners....Tubbs just had a couple of down years...

Thats still a sore subject with most Tulane alumni...when Bowden left for Clemson, he endorsed RR-his offensive coordinator at the time to replace him. He credited the high powered offense to RR's scheme and remember, Tulane went undefeated that year.
Sandy Barber-who made a great hire with Bowden decided to be stupid and ignore RR and all he accomplished-even said some crazy remarks about him. She instead hired the OC from Georgia Chris Scelfo-purely a shitty hire and many were pissed....she was run off a couple of years later and that move killed the Tulane program..RR wanted the job and had made great recruiting in-roads in Louisiana. We all know what RR did after that-he left and went with Bowden.

fricking right. I would personally go pick him up myself. Shepard would officially be used correctly, and would kill all.

I would absolutely love it.

Tuberville is garbage. He is no different than Les.

Dick Rod has his own offense that is next to unstoppable with the right players. Michigan is no where close to having those players. LSU, on the other hand, has those players.

Consider me one of those geniuses you speak of. He has no shot to succeed at UM in only 2 years. People didn't want him there in the first place.

Jimmy Ot thought LSU was insane for taking Les over RR.
