N.O. Everybody is calling in on the Saban rumors. I got a friend who is close to the admin. and Taf and Nicks a done deal and a major company is banking on him taking a paycut to 3MILL A Year and a 10 yr contract which if he stays he gets a $50 mill anuity.

I was a Miles supporter, but want whats best for this university and this garbage is deja vu and I feel a Cap One ending. I hope we make a well thought out decision.

Ok, compared to what has been posted here all week and what has been put out on BR airwaves all week, what exactly is different about WWL? They take the same idiotic callers from around the state as anyone else so what suprises you by these callers?

I love the fact that LSU fans think that any coach in the country would just drop everything they have and come to LSU.

Yep. They have short memories. Saban and Miles have both worked out well but they were probably in our 3rd tier of choices. I remember before we hired Miles everyone thought Spurrier and Del Rio would interview. Sounds very familiar...

a lot has changed since the last time we hired a coach. most not all coaches would come here. i think that is the reason saban is after the job. he wants to walk into a slam dunk situation instead of a three year rebuilding process at bama. he also doesn't want to put up with the crap he has had to this first year at alabama. don't think he's not kicking himself for not sticking with the dolphins one more year. he is begging to come back.
