I think we need a Snape Kills Dumbledore little more context.

Can we only discuss book titles Rhaegar + Lyanna = Jon and cover art on this board?

Just go back and label it and try to be circumspect with major spoilers imo.

Sometimes threads are used both to recommend and discuss so unless it is explicitly stated in OP for no spoilers please, I think labeling and try not to explicitly state major stuff is the best protocol

He will need to reference the post, and I will mark as spoilers

I found it.

It's this thread:
quote:

What's a book that you wished you had never picked up (because it sucked so bad)?

It's your comment about The Road.

To be fair, you're entering a thread asking about shitty books, and a lot of books suck because the ending sucks. I think those kinds of threads are an "Enter at your own risk" type of thing.

It would be kind of ridiculous to put spoilers on every post.

I can't believe you revealed the details in the subject line.

I was hoping to discover it in the thread.

Just kidding.

Or you could finish the hook before reading message board threads that undoubtedly contain spoilers.

Grow up.

Don’t want the end of a book/movie to be spoiled, don’t read things that likely contain spoilers.

It’s the internet. Everything is enter at your own risk.

Yes you shouldn’t post spoilers in a thread marked “no spoilers” even then don’t be shocked if spoilers are posted.

Just curious, how are people supposed to discuss books if they are never allowed to discuss the ending?

Especially a book like The Road that isn’t exactly new.

I basically revealed the end of Aurora in that same thread, precisely because the end sucks. The first third of the book is awesome, but then it goes off the rails. I completely stand with those who say that, in a thread about books that suck, we need to be able to talk about endings that suck.
