Honestly, The Great Gatsby is still my favorite book.
I was Just talking about Heart of Darkness in another thread.

The Three Musketeers immediately popped to mind. You can’t put that book down.
Once and Future King
Canterbury Tales (If you want to consider it a novel)
LOTR
Depends on what we consider classic now. Catch 22 a classic? As I Lay Dying? Mice and Men? Huck Finn? Heart of Darkness? OFOtCN? Invisible Man? The Things They Carried?

Confederacy of Dunces had me laughing out loud. Though it probably isn’t considered a classic. However Don Quixote is definitely a classic, and that was a favorite of mine. The characters Don Quixote and Ignatius Reilly shared a lot of similarities.

Dandelion wine, Martian chronicles, and Something wicked this way comes are all better than Fahrenheit. I hate that Fahrenheit is Bradburys most famous book.
To answer the OP, Lolita, Ada or Ardor, Sentimental education, Lonesome dove, Master and Margarita, and Wuthering heights are all must read classics.
