What are some books you like that no one else likes?

The books I have recommended or lent to people that so far none have liked:
Three Body Problem. Most don't get past the first book. I think the Chinese names and sometimes weird narration turns them off.
House of Leaves. I love this book, but most people are expecting a standard horror story and narrative. Which this book isn't.

I’m white and in my 40s.
I actually like Roots.
I don't care if Alex Haley fabricated it-it’s still a good story IMO.

I love The Good Earth. I love an agricultural tale. I even read the sequels. Everyone I have ever spoken to about it found it boring as shite.
