The Farseer trilogies? Fitzchivalry is one of my favorite characters in fantasy.
Just finished her latest about a month ago. Still have moxed feelings.

Read the first book in the series. Really enjoyed it.

Yeah, understandable to have mixed feelings on the ending I think. I though this last Fitz trilogy was great though.
I'd rank them:
1st Fitz trilogy
Liveship trilogy
3rd Fitz trilogy
Dragon quartet
2nd Fitz Trilogy
First 4 on that list I think are pretty great. The second Fitz trilogy I think is sorta just solid but not great.
But everyone should stay the heck away from her Shaman series that's not set in the Elderling world, it's bloody awful. I stopped halfway through the second book it was so bad, which is rare for me to not finish books.

The first two one your list are spot on and some of the best character driven fantasy ever published. The rest are a drop off.

I couldn't finish the Dragon quartet. The rest were great though.
