Hardcover version of this book, looks to be in great shape. Was wondering if anyone here has read it, and if they felt positive about it?

I ask because if its dull I'll just go ahead and give it to someone I know, who has time on their hands and will read anything..but if it's good I'd dedicate some of my free time to it first.

I read it.

Liked it. Not Kings best but far from his worst.

In my opinion the first 200 pages is some of the best stuff King has written in years. Really falls off a cliff after that though.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would read the Bill Hodges trilogy first though.

I would skip the Bill Hodges stuff. Not nearly as good as the outsider.

The Bill Hodges trilogy introduces one of the main characters of The Outsiders. The Outsiders also drops a really big spoiler of the ending of the Hodges trilogy.
