Just finished this one on Audible.
Wondering what others thought of it.

It's been a loooong time since I read it, but I enjoyed it (as I have most of King's works).

I enjoyed it, but I’d have to rank it towards the bottom of the dozen or so King books I read. Still worth a read just not on the level of Thr Stand, IT, etc... for me.

I loved it. As a Christian, I could relate to how I see Satan and evil in the world. Knowing the things that tempt us most, offering them out there.. thought it was interesting. Funny thing is, it came add a recc. from my Minister at the time.

I'd say the same. Some of the characters were very compelling. Some were not at all.

Weirdly one of the main characters, Gaunt, became tiresome to me.

LCA131, I also was struck by the good versus evil that was almost a biblical parable.

Thanks for the responses. The thread about Desperation prompted me to bring up another less known SK book.

Nostalgic Castle Rock. I love how Ace Merril gets his ticket punched. Also like the cujo references.

Isn't it just a ripoff of Bradbury's Something Wicked This Way Comes?

I liked the Cujo refs also.
Didn’t remember Castle Rock otherwise though. I read those books in hardback when they were released.
Long time ago.
