Just watched the Miyazaki film Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, and thinking of grabbing the Manga. Anyone read it, or Manga in general?

What type of genres are you interested in?
I have not read any adaptations of Ghibli films to answer that question.

I’ve never read any. Only after watching Nausicaa that I saw that the film was only 1/4 of the manga it was based on (also written by Miyazaki). So thought I’d check it out.

I see. It's kinda hard to base many recommendations off that, but I'll list a few that I think are just very good.
Vagabond
Berserk (very dark fantasy, may not be to your taste as intro to medium)
Vinland Saga
20th Century Boys
Frieren: Beyond Journey's End
Witch Hat Atelier
I highly recommend using a website like MAL as resource. It has a huge database and you'll be able to find recommendations and rankings by users.

If you want something a bit easier to get into, then I'd probably recommend something like Fullmetal Alchemist or One Piece.

The comic version of Nausicaa is very much worth reading.
