Someone who reads some of the same stuff I do recommended I give her a try. Police procedural, etc.
HasAnyone read Atkinso, and, if so, what’s
The verdict?
Thanks

I have not read her but I’m curious
If someone who reads the same things you do recommended her, why don’t you just give it a try?
Do you really need the book boards validation?

I was just curious. Dat's all.

Because it sucks to get 100 pages into a book you do not like. I generally want about three separate sources of praise before i invest time and money in a book.

See if someone with similar taste recommends a book to me, I’ll give it a quick look and if it looks interesting I will give it a shot.
I don’t need multiple validations to make a decision.
Hell sometimes I’ll find a book that seems good and I will read it without even soliciting outside opinion. Unbelievable, I know.

Ordinarily, neither do I.
I can't work full time lately. Money and time are tight.
