Saw an ad for it just today, so I’m not sure about the full scope of it. Seems as though it’s a prequel novel detailing his journey from the Indianapolis to the Orca.

Jaws fascinated me as a kid and even more as an adult. I’m. In.

Farewell and adieu to you fair Spanish ladies

Interesting. There is a play on broadway I think to with his actual son playing him. It’s more on the production of the movie I think

Robert Shaw’s son is playing Quint? Cool if that is the case.

Robert Shaw’s son is playing Robert Shaw in a broadway play he has produced about the interactions during the filming of Jaws among (mainly) Richard Dreyfus and Robert Shaw (with Roy Schieder thrown in)

Oh very cool. Have you ever heard Shaw in old interviews? His voice was very soft, completely unlike Quint.

Interesting. I hope it's better than the Jaws book. It's been a while since I read but I remember being let down after comparing it to the movie.

I read it when I was 12 and knew it was bad then.
