I never read the last book. Just flat lost interest once it "jumped the shark".


Wizard is the highlight, which is funny because its a damn flashback

I went back and read the wind thru the keyhole after it was released and it was a good add on to the original series as well.

It's kinda like the TV series Dexter, it's great for the first 4 books then it gets weird(er).

I generally like it when it gets weird - but some of this was just off.

Still a pretty high quality series overall IMO and its high points are fantastic.

Dark Tower is Definitely a crazy creative concept. I love the first few books. Wizard and Glass is magnificent. The foreshadowing and intensity of Blaine the Mono was brilliant.

The story got a little dull with the alcoholic priest and the focus on Susanna and all her multiple personalities got tiresome.

I actually liked the ending. No ending was going to be fully satisfying and this was as good as any.
