First of all I'm willing to bet that I have at least one post on every single page of this thread, I've been here since the very beginning (like seriously before any one else check who started the damn thing)
Second you're wrong and you've been that way for about a page now.

I feel like this made up argument isn't worth searching through this long thread.

He made the thread, I'm pretty sure he's read it.
And I believe you're misreading what people were thinking could happen in Margaery's trial. Which is a whole separate deal from Ceresi's trial.

So we are to disregard every precedent laid down in this series because you say so????
I didn't say that. But to say my theory is ridiculous is asinine. Did you foresee the Red Wedding even though Dany's time in the House of Undying eluded to it? To make assumptions and base them as fact in regards to this series is ludicrous. I'm simply laying out a scenario that could possibly be true based on what we know. I don't understand why you're getting mad about it.
Would changing my Avatar allegiance to LSU make me more credible?

its funny how everyone who has been in this thread since the start don't remember any big deal being made out of his supposed argument isn't it?

Just re-read pages 20-42. jrod was the ONLY person who proposed Loras fighting Robert Strong. Granted, he put that insane notion forth like 5 times, but he was the only one.

I'm not mad I'm baffled how a person can be shown evidence time and time again only to disregard it.

Belle is from Kentucky and I trust her as much or more than anyone else on this subject. You're argument makes no sense and has changed at least three times to the point that I don't even know what you're arguing for anymore.

I don't think people think you are not creditable. I think mostly everyone has no idea what the argument is here.

Yeah, I assume Cotton is an Ole Miss fan and Carson likes USC (because Lane Kiffin has no soul just like Carson), but we like them plenty.

It was just one. That is my crackpot theory.
[And I'm sticking with it, Cotton.]
Margery has chosen to have a traditional trial. My theory is that her brother will not allow her to suffer that shame. He will insist on a trial by combat.
I've based in on the following exchange between Cercei and the septas after her confession:
quote:
Had Margaery Tyrell somehow wriggled free of the accusations of fornication, adultery, and high treason? "Was there a trial?"
"Soon," said Septa Scolera, "but her brother-"
"Hush." Septa Unella turned to glare back...

That may be the case but he will still face the Faith's champion not Cersei's.
Therefore Loras will not face Robert Strong.
Period.
although I still think you're wrong as the frick

FTR, I think part of your theory could be correct. Just that the champion she would name wouldn't face Ceresi's champion because of the Faith being responsible for the trial.
I do think some sneaky stuff goes down to keep Margaery safe. Never doubt the wealth and power of Highgarden.

Mags is traditional trial. Cersei is using rs against someone not yet known. That's how I always read it and I feel stupid if that's not how everyone else reads it

Or the fact that Highgarden and Casterly Rock have been mortal enemies for hundreds of years. Didn't know that until I read the Dunk & Egg books. I assumed they weren't besties, but didn't realize that the hate goes back generations.

I mean even the Duke fan gets it. If I can agree with a Duke fan here then we've set the precedent that no one gives a shite about fan affiliation in this thread.

The hatred of Duke and Kentucky fans is similar to how I'd describe the animosity between Highgarden and Casterly Rock.
Tide Saint - We are not trying to be dicks here. In order for threads like this to be worth a shite, we need participants. I think we just have very differing opinions. The fact that you suck on Big Al's honker has nothing to do with it (j/k man).
