Anyone have any suggestions on books that go into detail about the Revolutions of 1848 in Europe. There are some eerily similarities to what we are witnessing today.

It's eerily similar to WW1 and WW2 also, I can recommend the Guns of August for WW1.

Not a book, but Mike Duncan's Revolutions podcast devotes an entire season to 1848. You will probably want to listen to the previous seasons on at least the French Revolution and the Revolution of 1830 to really get a grasp on exactly what is going on, though. And honestly, like everything Duncan does the whole series is awesome, so you should just listen to the whole thing.
