Bono's "Surrender" is the greatest audiobook I've ever listened to

It's so well done and it's more like an audio movie than a book. I'm only 1/3 of the way in (its over 20 hours) and I am already dreading it ending. Really fantastically done and I'm someone who went from being a U2 superfan to an outright hater these last 5 years or so.
I'll plop back in here and post updates of my favorite anecdotes etc if there's any interest.
Many autobiographies are ghost written and obvious cash grabs - you can tell by contrast this was an absolute passion project for Bono. You can tell how well crafted and honed every little thing is - it's a masterpiece.

Thanks - Saw it at Barnes & Noble and wondered if it's any good. I have plenty of car time so always looking for good audiobooks.

What a colossal pretentious douchebag this guy is. Would be very low on the list of autobiographies for me.

Something that blew my mind is that "Where The Streets Have No Name" is essentially a trance song at 120 bpm.
It's why the song is so euphoric especially live.
Edge wrote the music in the mid 80s while he was in Europe getting into dance music and going to see Giorgio Moroder deejay
