Beau Guidry and Sheila Novak are no strangers to danger, but this mission is unlike any they've faced before. Set against the backdrop of the vast and unforgiving Rub' al Khali desert, their quest is filled with intrigue, suspense, and heart-pounding action.
Beau Guidry, a retired Marine Corps general with a distinguished career in the Recon Battalion, is drawn back into the fray when his friend's niece goes missing in the war-torn regions of Yemen. With his extensive experience in the Middle East, Beau is the only person capable of navigating the treacherous landscape and the volatile political climate of Yemen. His deep connections, including a long-standing friendship with a Yemeni general from their days as lieutenants, become his lifeline.
Sheila Novak, Beau's ex-wife and now rekindled love, is more than a pretty face. As a world-renowned supermodel, she leverages her celebrity status to gain access to restricted areas. Her courage and resourcefulness are tested as she finds herself in situations far removed from the glitz and glamour of the runway. Determined to reunite a family, Sheila's unwavering dedication to the mission adds a layer of emotional depth to their journey.

Seems like an interesting read after checking out the synopsis
Not bashing (and I have a feeling it's for a reason) but your cover makes the book appear to have come out in 1995

Who is the hot model on the cover? Or do I need to read the book?
