Hard to argue against that decision.

She lucked out on the timing of a great recruiting class paired with a brand new AD. Because otherwise it was a long time coming

I didn’t hold that extension against Greene initially but the years since have made it easily his biggest misstep since arriving. Good opportunity for redemption on the next hire

Hopefully that gets the ball rolling in some other sports.

Yeah. I was surprised at the extension w a brand new president and AD.
No one would have questioned if they would have told her, we will evaluate her for another year, on her current contract at the time.

I realize, and assume it was Leath who pushed the extension, but that's easy to blame him again.

Once the extension was allowed, the mistake had been made since she still had not shown the ability to compete for a championship even after what 7 years prior?

It's time for Spry to go. Long past that time, actually. From what I understand, his contract is up soon and won't be renewed.

Fair enough. I don't keep up with the track or XC teams. I will be curious to see who the candidates are for wbb

I honestly forgot we had a women's basketball team. So she really needed to go.

I wonder if AD Greene met any WBB coaching candidates at the pool?

It seemed to work in hiring Harsin. :)

I want us to be competitive in all sports but honestly women’s hoops is absolutely unwatchable. Most boring of all the women’s sports.
