Tonight's draft isn't the only thing getting ready for some football. The NFL is looking at a soft opening tomorrow morning with monday being more of an official league kickoff. In a statement the league said...
quote:

"...teams may immediately contact players to advise them about the hours the facilities will be open for use, schedule medical and rehabilitation sessions and set up meetings with coaches."
Meanwhile, Adam Schefter is reporting what you won't see during tonight's draft due to the lockout...
quote:

"Bottom line: No free-agent signings during draft, no player trades during draft, only pick trades during draft. Free agency could start Mon."
Look out folks, we might have our NFL football back Monday morning.
