The NFL has told Saints' safety Roman Harper they were wrong throwing a penalty for a hard hit he had on Jay Culter last Sunday. Harper said...
quote:

"When I saw the flag. I couldn't believe it. Cutler went to begging for it and they gave it to him,"..."The bad thing is they got points off of it." "Pretty much as soon as the play was over, I think coach (Sean) Payton called timeout and really got after the ref,"..."The coaches were like, 'Keep playing. Don't worry about it. That was a (bad) call. Just keep balling and don't worry about that."'
I know admitting they were wrong is a nice thing, but what does it gain a team that has maybe lost due to that wrong call?

NFL should fine referees for cheating for Chicago, particularly against the Saints!!! Refs have their favorite teams too!!!

If Harper had made an illegal hit, he most likely could have been fined. In this case, the NFL should be fined and the money should go to the Saints
