NFL: Jon Gruden To Coach Rams?
by Larry Leo
December 27, 20112 Comments
The San Diego Tribune is reporting that if Chargers GM A.J. Smith is let go he will end up in St. Louis. Rams owner Stan Kroenke is anxiously waiting for the move to happen. Meanwhile, league and agent sources strongly indicated that Smith will be hired as Rams’ general manager and bring along Jon Gruden as head coach.
quote:For some reason I can't see Gruden is St. Louis. He's gonna have a lot of coaching options after this season and among them possibly Indianapolis or Dallas.
"Sources said Gruden has decided to return to coaching in 2012 and that his current employer, ESPN, is already preparing for his departure."
