Former Broncos QB Jake Plummer was on Xtra Sports 910 in Phoenix and gave his thoughts on Tim Tebow, and like everyone else in the universe, they weren't exactly positive.
quote:

“Tebow, regardless of whether I wish he’d just shut up after a game and go hug his teammates, I think he’s a winner and I respect that about him,” Plummer said. “I think that when he accepts the fact that we know that he loves Jesus Christ then I think I’ll like him a little better. I don’t hate him because of that, I just would rather not have to hear that every single time he takes a good snap or makes a good handoff…like you know, I understand dude where you’re coming from….but he is a baller. He knows how to win and when your teammates believe in you that you can do good things and that’s what they are doing.”
This coming from a quitter. Nice.

who cares how much Teblow likes Jesus Christ ? If someone liked Satan and professed his love for Satan , all the christians would cry like they were at a crucifiction. I thought Christians were not supposed to judge ? Oh thats only when its convenient I forgot . Teblow is a winner with a lot of heart . Nobody cares that he believes in an imaginary person . Doesn't it make someone crazy if they talk to an imaginary person over and over again ?

Plummer, or any other clown can simply not listen. Its refreshing to hear an articulate, devoted person after a game instead of some rambling thug who cant speak

Tebow has said many times that football gives him a great platform. Post-game after the broncos beat the jets, he said winning the game was great but he's more excited about that hospital that he's building in the phillipines. He openly admits that football is not the most important thing in the world to him. It shouldn't be to anyone else, either. There are more important things in life, and he's using is visibility through footabll to express what he thinks is most important. I don't necessarily agree with it, but it doesn't bother me when people use the platform they have to promote what they believe is important.

I applaud him for stating his beliefs. If you don't want to hear what he has to say, press mute or change the channel. He has the right to express his Christian views.

Do you call everyone that loses interest in something a quitter?

Also, I completely agree with him. Tired of hearing Tebow talk about his beliefs, main reason I have never liked Tebow.
