New Orleans Saints and Pelicans Owner Tom Benson was deemed competent and able to continue running the organization by a judge Thursday. Per CBSSports.com:

His daughter, Renee Benson, and grandchildren, Rita and Ryan LeBlanc, had previously asked the judge to declare Benson incompetent, arguing that diminishing mental abilities, coupled with the influence of his wife, made him unfit to continue in his capacity as team owner.

"The court sat across from the defendant, looked into his eyes, listened carefully to his responses, and concluded the capacity to make reasoned decisions was present," Orleans Civil District Judge Kern Reese said, via NOLA.com.
Benson decided to award the Saints and the Pelicans to his wife, Gayle Benson back in Decemeber of 2014.

If I'm Tom, I'm writing Renee, Rita, and Ryan out of the will completely.
